Quilting and Crafting for Charity

Quilting & Crafting for Charity, Charity Quilters

* 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 1-4pm in the Our Lady of the Lakes Parish Center (come as you are able)

This is a group of women (guys are welcome too!) that devote their time to quilting, knitting, crocheting, and crafting for charity.  Some of the organizations we donate to include St. Ben's in Milwaukee, Mary's Room in Sheboygan, the Random Lake Area Interfaith Food Pantry, our parish festivals, as well as areas that just experienced a natural disaster.  We welcome people of all talent levels in the fiber arts, from novices to professionals.

Quilts & Pillowcases

With donated fabric, we make quilts and pillow cases for St. Ben's, The Food Pantry,

and areas affected by disasters.

Baby Items

Many of the baby items we make are donated to Mary's Room in Sheboygan, an organization that donates baby items for needy families.

Special Projects

Walker/Wheelchair bags are being made to donate to our area nursing homes.  Here are a few patterns that you may find helpful:

1. Pattern for walker bag pictured above.

2. Pattern for the arm of a wheelchair.

Contact Deb Hamm if you need fabric.
