My name is Mrs. Longden. I am excited to join the Divine Savior family as the 4th grade teacher. This is my first year teaching fourth grade at Divine Savior. I was a principal for five years at Holy Trinity prior to coming to Divine Savior. I previously taught 1st grade for one year and 5th grade for four years at Holy Trinity before becoming principal. Before Holy Trinity, I taught sixth grade at St. Rafael the Archangel School in Milwaukee and I also taught General Music to grades 4K-8. My educational background includes earning my Director of Instruction and Principal Licensure through Concordia University. I also earned my Reading Specialist Certification and Reading Teacher License from Concordia University in Mequon. I received my Masters of Science in Education from Concordia University allowing me to teach general education 1st-8th grade. I received my Bachelors of Music Education in instrumental and general music from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. I believe that in order to be a successful teacher, you must also be a lifelong learner. I strongly believe in the success of each child in my classroom. I look forward to watching students grow academically and spiritually. “Education is the foundation upon which we build our future.” Christine Gregoire
