Our Lady of the Lakes Outreach Committee

To encourage parishioners to answer God's call to live their lives as intentional disciples and build a relationship with Jesus. Everyone has a gift to be shared. Faithful and spiritual stewards must be nurtured to answer the call of sharing their gifts of time, talent and treasure.

Our Goals

Provide opportunities to increase stewardship and sharing of gifts
Strive to always be a welcoming community and provide hospitality opportunities
Outreach to current parishioners and non-practicing Catholics to encourage mission of discipleship

Our Events

Sunday Hospitality - a chance for parishioners to enjoy refreshments and to socialize together following Mass
Gables on the Pond Communion Ministry - on Wednesdays members of the Outreach Committee bring Communion to Gables' residents and pray the Rosary together
Bereavement Cards - the committee sends out cards to those who have lost a loved one
New Member Follow-Up - the committee welcomes new members to Hospitality and gives them a welcome bag
Ladies' Craft Night - a chance for women to gather with their friends and engage in a special craft
Kids Crafting events- Mass bag, Rosary workshop and more
Random Lake Fall Fest - on behalf of Our Lady of the Lakes as a whole, the Outreach Committee has a booth in the community fall fest at the end of September
Baby Bottle Fundraiser - our parish participates in a baby bottle fundraiser to support the Women's Support Center in Milwaukee
Trunk or Treat - the outreach committee participates in the area trunk or treat around Halloween
Trips to area shrines- Our Lady of Good Help and Holy Hill
Random Lake Night of Lights - on behalf of Our Lady of the Lakes as a whole, the Outreach Committee hands out Christmas goodies at the Night of Lights & Living Nativity in December
Quilting & Crafting for Charity - a group dedicated to sewing, crocheting, and knitting items for parish fundraisers and for those in need
